Notice Inviting Bids
Beryl Elementary, Birney Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, and Madison Elementary School Exterior Painting Projects
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Redondo Beach Unified School District, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District, will receive at the Business Office, 1401 Inglewood Avenue, Redondo Beach, CA 90278, up to, but no later than 1:00 p.m. on Monday May 21, 2018 responses to the bid for the award of:
Beryl Elementary, Birney Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, and Madison Elementary School Exterior Painting Projects
Each of the above is a stand-alone project and qualified service providers may or may not choose to submit individual quotes for each Project. Each provider is expected to make themselves thoroughly familiar with any rules or regulations regarding the school sites. Inquiries shall be directed to Fred Naile, Director Facilities and Construction, at 310-937-1280.
Such response to the bid shall be received at Redondo Beach Unified School District, 1401 Inglewood Avenue, Redondo Beach, CA 90278, and addressed to Fred Naile, Director Facilities and Construction.
A mandatory job walk will be held on May 11 & 16, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. at Beryl Elementary School, 920 Beryl Street, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 (“Job Walk”). All participants are required to sign-in. Failure to attend or tardiness will render bid ineligible.
Each bid response must conform and be responsive to this invitation, and all other documents comprising the sealed bid. Copies of the bid documents are now available at the Redondo Beach Unified School District’s web page at www.rbusd.org under “District Notices”, and in the Purchasing Office, 1401 Inglewood Avenue, Redondo Beach, CA 90278.
The District reserves the right to reject any or all responses to the bid, to accept or to reject any one or more items of the bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the response to bid.
The bids are being issued after a finding by the Governing Board that it is advantageous to procure through competitive negotiations. All significant Evaluation Standards for the competitive negotiations, including price and their relative importance, will be reviewed.
