Enrollment Support for Families Impacted by Wildfires

Supporting Families Affected by Southern California Fires

We are deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the fires in Southern California. Our thoughts are with all families who have been displaced and faced unimaginable losses. At RBUSD, we are committed to providing support and assistance during this difficult time.

Enrollment Assistance for Displaced Families

RBUSD is ready to help families affected by the fires enroll their children in school. If you need to enroll a student, please visit any RBUSD school site. While bringing documentation is helpful, it is not required. Our staff will work with you to streamline the enrollment process and ensure your student can start school as quickly as possible.

If available, please bring:

  • Parent’s driver’s license
  • Student’s birth certificate
  • Proof of current grade-level enrollment
  • Transcripts, report cards, or other school records
  • Immunization and/or medical records
  • Any current residential information (e.g., hotel contract, short-term rental agreement, lease, or emergency housing details)

Both physical and digital copies of these documents are acceptable. If you don’t have these items, our staff will assist you in completing the enrollment process.
